And Then We Received A Very Unexpected Accolade! Australian Interior Design Awards Winner Of The 2013 Retail Design Award

There are times when you do exceptional work but for one reason or another, perhaps because the client is very private, we are not able to showcase the work. In this instance, however, we were able to showcase all the wonderful qualities of our work and it paid off for both ourselves and our long time friends at Tobias Partners  .

The Tongue n Groove Melbourne showroom recently won the glowing accolade of 2013 Retail Design Award with Tobias Partners as well as the 2013 Best of State Commercial award. I have included the links below.

Did We Mention That We Also Do 'Cool'?

So whilst we concentrate on meeting the needs of regular commercial clients, there are times when we are called in for special types of work.

On this particular occasion this was the work of a catwalk for fashion label Camilla & Marc. Both Camilla and Marc Freeman are considered one of the most dynamic young labels in Australia at the moment.

For this chosen job we used Tongue N Groove Penza Parquet for the catwalk at this year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Sydney.

CBRE- Choosing Tongue N Groove's Otta Parquet

When you need to impress your clients, when you want them to know that you mean business but that you conduct yourself effortlessly and with a refined sense of style, then you will look no further than parquet.

And this is precisely what CBRE did for their Sydney CBD office. Otta parquet by Tongue N Groove  was the chosen product for 363 George Street and of course we think it lives up to it's reputation.

 Elegant. Simple. Dignified.

We love parquet and we love a good architect's vision. This particular work is that of WMK Architecture.

Simple elegance from WMK Architecture at 363 George Street for the offices of CBRE. This is an example of Tongue N Groove's Otta Parquet.

The Renovation Of The Balmain Hotel Using Tongue N Groove Penza Vecchio

There are many ways to skin a cat and there are equally as many ways in which we can finish your floors these days. Take below for example, this is the floor we installed for The Balmain Hotel  to bring in some urban chic to this groovy hotel in Sydney's bustling Balmain. The chosen board?

God Is In The Detail

It is not often that you get a chance to create a purpose built showroom for timber.

It is a big undertaking because you need a lot of space, you need a lot of timber and you need to make sure you get it right.

At Tongue N Groove we decided to make sure we got it absolutely spot on for our Melbourne showroom because we want you to know how far you can take the concepts we work with.

We want you to be inspired from the moment you walk through our doors because we don't want you going back to just any old timber flooring shop once you have seen what true luxury is.
